Fusion Growth Labs Appoints Dale Rankine as Lead Venture Architect
Brisbane, Australia – July 2025
Fusion Growth Labs is proud to announce the appointment of Dale Rankine as Lead Venture Architect, bringing decades of entrepreneurial, product, and venture-building expertise to its national venture creation platform.
An exited seasoned founder, Dale has launched and scaled dozens of products and companies across enterprise software, IoT, and emerging technology. He brings practical experience in working with researchers and industry experts to shape early-stage innovation into commercially focused ventures. He is the founder of his own private venture studio, and served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of Queensland’s Momentum Accelerator, where he supported early-stage founders through the QIC VCDF program.
At Fusion, Dale will lead the Fusion Venture Architect Program, an initiative designed to turn early-stage ideas, research, innovations and validated industry problems into investable B2B software companies. The program combines Dale’s deep operational experience with Fusion’s commercial architecture, creating a fast-track from concept to customer for high-impact ventures.
“We’re entering a generational opportunity to rethink how software is delivered and priced,” said Dale Rankine. “AI-native products aren’t just improving workflows, they’re redefining the economics and value of SaaS. This is a chance to reshape contract structures around outcomes, automation, and intelligence, rather than just seats and features. This program is about surrounding great founders and ideas with the right architecture, execution discipline, and capital pathways from day one.”
The Fusion Venture Architect Program is currently accepting applications from researchers, technologists, and domain experts. It focuses on high-potential B2B software opportunities with global relevance and clearly defined industry demand.
“Dale brings unmatched insight into product market fit, technical execution, and founder enablement,” said Fusion co-founder James Skinner. “His addition to the team lifts our capacity to turn early-stage potential into commercial performance.”
